Pickleball (18+)

 
Pickleball is a unique paddle sport which combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. It is a low impact sport that can be played at any pace.
 
Recreational Pickleball : This is a recreational program that will  run 5 days a week Monday-Friday Sept 5 - Dec 15, 2017. I This program is for players who have some experience with the game and feel comfortable with their ability to play. Players can reserve a spot each day by calling the Centre after 9:00 am for the Monday-Friday time, 
 Court is limited to 12 players. Once the 12 spots have been filled the court will be closed to others. This program is for participants to get together with others to enjoy a fun afternoon of pickleball. Drop-In Fee is $3.00. Punch cards of 10 punches will be available for $20.00.  Age: 18+

Tai Chi for Health               


Dr. Paul Lam developed the Tai Chi for Health programs shown by medical studies to improve health and wellness. Although this particular program was designed to benefit people living with diabetes, it offers health benefits for everyone. 
Improve your balance, posture, muscle strength and flexibility while having fun in a small group setting

Introduction to Yoga -  

 
Gentle Beginner Yoga - explore the practice of yoga in a way specially designed for beginners of all shapes and sizes in a welcoming atmosphere. Please bring a yoga mat, water bottles, blanket, and yoga blocks (if you have them).

Bellyfit 

 

Bellyfit is the holistic fitness experience for women that blends the power and wisdom of ancient cultures with the research, technology, and trends of the modern world. Inspired by Belly Dance, African Dance, Bhangara, Bollywood dance styles and eastern martial arts traditions. Bellyfit is combined with yoga and Pilates to form a safe, fun, and effective full-body workout. Please wear your favourite athletic shoes and workout clothes bring  water and a  yoga mat.

LeBARRE takes the hottest trend in dance-inspired exercise, ballet barre training, and uses the Lebert EQUALIZER for Balance, Agility, Resistance, Working Recovery and Eloquence, to create a format suitable for every level of exerciser. LeBarre is a workout like no other!  Squat, plié, lunge, and arabesque your way to a better you using ballet and pilates inspired exercises at your very own barre in this unique, small-group class.  LeBARRE is a barefoot exercise class.  No dance experience required.
