Personal Development/Fine Arts
This course is designed to help you get your camera off the automatic setting. The course explores what all the little icons in your camera menu mean and how you can use them to capture your best photos. Once the class is comfortable with how to use their cameras we move to discussing common photography mistakes (and how to avoid making them), composition and tips and tricks on how to get more creative images.

Watercolor Beyond Basics
This series of classes will introduce you to some new techniques and materials as you gain confidence in your watercolor skills. We will continue to explore wet-on-wet to create all kinds of skies, clouds and seascapes. There will be wax and watercolour crayons and pastels available to depict tranquil rocky lakes and snow scenes. We will be learning how to depict effective reflections, shadows and perspective. There will also be more drawing instruction so that we can begin to include life-like figures, buildings, and trees into our compositions. In the style of Chinese Brush Painting, you will be guided toward a looser style of brushstrokes suggesting movement to bring your paintings to life!
