Belly Dance

In this fun and exciting belly dance program, you will be learning the basic techniques and movements with beautiful tunes of Middle Eastern music. It is open to everyone from those who have never tried belly dancing before to those who are coming back from a long break.

Ukulele

All you need is a ukulele and the fun begins. Song, chords and tuning can be learned during the first lesson. If you have played before you will continue to learn to strum, learn more chords and songs. Instructor Amanda Trainor makes learning the ukulele an enjoyable experience. Come and join us!

Let's Dance

 
Grab your dancing shoes and join us each Tuesday night with instructor Mike Kaplan Will start with some all-time favourites such as the Basic Jive and Waltz. During the 10 weeks you will also try some contemporary polka. We end with a celebration, so the last night of class you will dance the night away with all that you learned while enjoying a potluck.

Keep on Dancing 

Keep those legs moving as we learn the Cha Cha and add on more jive and waltz moves to those you have already learned. Mike Kaplan will continue to guide and teach you through more moves in an enjoyable atmosphere. This class is designed to keep you on your toes each Tuesday night. We end with a celebration, so the last night of the session you will dance the night away with all that was learned while enjoying a potluck.

Line Dance


Have you seen a group of people line dancing and wished you could do that too because it looks like so much fun? Country Line Dancing is fun, and is a great way to get MOVING! Classes are designed for those who have never lined danced before, or who are restarting after a time of not dancing.
Instructor Marilyn Pellerine teaches classics, and current dances that will get you up on the dance floor!

Nia Dance

 Nia (Neuromuscular Integrative Action) combines natural movements from three dance arts (Modern, Jazz, Duncan), three martial arts (Aikido, Tai Chi, Taekwondo) and three healing arts (Yoga, Feldenkrais, Alexander technique). It is a holistic barefoot movement practice that is guided by 'sensing inward' and 'feeling good'. Nia can help improve flexibility, mobility, agility, strength, and stability as well as encourage posture, grace, balance, co-ordination, cardiovascular and cognitive function, and self-confidence.
