Youth Night
 
Every Friday night the Centre opens its doors to youth ages 7-12 years. This drop-in is free. Come out and play your favourite video games, ping pong, board games, air hockey and much more with your friends and meet new friends. Show your musical skills with  Rock Band. Once a month there will be a gym or movie night. Come out and enjoy a fun night out!

Zumba Kids /Zumba Kids Junior
 
Zumba Kids and Zumba Kids Jr combine movement, music and community in a class for children. Each class is high energy packed with specially choreographed kid friendly routines and all the music kids love, like hip hop, reggaeton, cumbia and more. Zumba Kids and Zumba Kids Jr inspire to express themselves through movement and Play while effectively improving their overall health and well being. Kids love it and parents love it for their children. Zumba increases their focus, and self-confidence, boosting metabolism and enhancing coordination.

Cooking for Kids 

 This program is a hands-on class that allows children to gain confidence in the kitchen, try new food, and most of all inspire kitchen creativity. Children will work together to make recipes from scratch, learn about the different uses of utensils and how to properly measure ingredients, as well as how to follow proper kitchen safety and hygiene procedures. At the end of each class, each child will be able to sample the dishes they have made. On the final class, each child will be given a cookbook with all of the recipes made to take home. Help foster the inner chef in your child!

Guitar for Kids
 
Get together with Holly Blackler to learn  to play your guitar. You will  learn  how to hold the guitar , about the strings and how to tune. Some basic strumming, picking and picking techniques will also be taught Chord progressions will also be appearing in these lessons by focusing on playing songs alone and with a group. Bring your  guitar, a guitar strap, electronic tuner and some soft picks. Come and  enjoy learning to  play your guitar.
